About Us
Cedar Cove Studio Arts is a center dedicated to a full art experience for children, teens and adults. We offer online and studio classes, workshops and special events. At the heart of our mission we believe in the life giving nature of creative inspiration and the importance of sharing and nurturing creativity in the life of others and the community.
Cedar Cove was founded in 2015 on the beloved corner of Cedar Ave. and 10th Street in Duncan Oklahoma. This historic site was built in the early 1900's and holds a full spectrum of community memory as it has been a neighborhood grocery store, a bakery and the Cedar Street Grill. It is our aim to continue its tradition by cultivating new and creative memories through its presence in the community as a center for the arts and creative inspiration.
Jennifer Steil is the founder, director and artist of Cedar Cove Studio Arts. She holds a BA in visual fine arts and MDiv in Christian Ministry. She has worked as a professional artist and instructor of the arts for 38 years. She has taught hundreds of children, teens and adults in a broad range of artistic mediums. Jennifer is particularly interested in the deep connection of creativity and spirituality. Her own art offers a narrative expression of the inner life of the soul. She is passionate about creating art and guiding others in meaningful creative experiences which nurture their lives and potential.

With the advent of COVID 19, Jennifer has been working to bring her studio and teaching experience into the online community throughout the world.
